Open Learning - Management Plus

Each unit is accompanied by a magazine, which contains short, easy-to-read articles that explain the management theories underpinning the modules. The magazine provides a foundation from which the delegate can develop their skills and confidence as a manager. Delegates can use the magazine to find out about management thinking relevant to the module, find recommendations for further reading and use it as reference material.

Each unit is also accompanied by application and concept guides , which are printed booklets containing a bank of activities designed to help the candidate develop and apply theories and tools to their work environment and to check understanding.

Target Audience
The programme is aimed at career managers and is designed to provide a guide to best practice for all managers. Developed by subject-matter experts, the course materials can be delivered in a flexible blended-learning format , from self-study programmes through to workshop-based programmes delivered by 20|20 tutors or in-house capability (each module is accompanied by a detailed facilitator’s guide). For those wishing to pursue a Professional or Post Graduate Certificate in Management, an accreditation option is available. Alternatively the materials can be used to support ILM, CMI and other management vocational qualifications at levels 5, 6 and 7.
